Lionel joined Earlybird Health as a Partner in 2012, bringing extensive experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to Earlybird, he was Managing Director at Bay City Capital and held various roles, including Product Manager at Eli Lilly and sales and marketing positions at Sanofi. He also worked as a strategy and management consultant to the healthcare industry at Booz Allen & Hamilton. Lionel serves on the boards of several healthcare startups and has previously held board roles in many others. He holds an MBA with Distinction from INSEAD and an MSc in Molecular Biology from the University of Geneva.

as a venture capitalist is that things never go according to plan. Entrepreneurship is a journey. You know where you start and have a sense of where you want to end, but the road is yours to make and the destination tends to evolve with each step you take.
